Wim Rietveld Chairs
Set of four 'Pyramid' Stacking Chairs by Wim Rietveld for Ahrend de Cirkel, stamped 06 October 1965.
Great minimal yet strong design with a ‘V’ structure metal frame and teak bent plywood seat and backrest. The chairs also have a hidden slide out mechanism which allows them to lock into one another, creating a bank of seats/bench (see photos).
All chairs are in overall good solid vintage condition. There is some wear to the metal in areas and some chips to the veneer, mainly in the corners which is quite common for chairs of this style and age. One rivet is also missing to one chair but still sturdy.
H81cm x W47cm x D49cm - Seat height 47cm
